Q: “What is current your lead time?”
10 May 2024
If our team could pick the question we are asked the most, it would probably be ‘What is your current lead time?’
We try to keep our answer as simple and accurate as possible but in reality there are a few factors that can influence it. Customer orders are scheduled by our team in order of when we take them, but we also consider production factors, like the type and size of the order, production timing and delivery location. The most important thing we do? Schedule your order for production as soon as we can!
“I would like my order as soon as possible, please!”
If you’re anything like most of us, you’d probably like to be more organised. We understand that this can’t always be the case, and that sometimes you might be running slightly behind on your schedule. If you have any urgent deadlines, the best thing to do is get in touch with our team and let us know- we will always see if we can meet, or better, your deadline. It is relevant to note that some types of material can take longer to order in, but we will always let you know if this is the case at the quote stage.
Getting booked in
Once we have scheduled your order for production, clear and regular communication means that you will know exactly when your delivery or collection is booked in. We email the day before your delivery is due to provide you with a 3-4 hour time slot, and then the driver will call with an ETA on the day. For collections, we will email you the day before to provide a collection time.

Frequently asked questions
Q: Can I get my order quicker if I collect it?
A: Sometimes this is possible, please feel free to ask and will be able to let you know
Q: Can I collect uncut boards quicker?
A: Because the range of products we offer is so large, we do not stock everything on the ground at HQ- we have a small selection of sheets in stock that are available for collection. Get in touch for more information and availability.
Q: What is the turn around for shaker doors?
A: Depending on when you place your order, our un primed shaker doors can be ready in around one week, before dleivery. If you are having them primed, we add 3-4 working days to production time.
Q: Will priming or lacquering on my order affect the lead time?
A: We prime/ lacquer orders in house as soon as your panels have been cut and edged. Priming/ lacquering normally adds 3-4 working days to the production time, to allow for processing and drying etc.
